Join us for a unique program taught by the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, where together we’ll explore connections between art, animals, and nature! Learn how art can be a form of enrichment for both people and animals that fosters creativity and well-being. In this hands-on session, we’ll delve into nature journaling, discover how the zoo uses art to enrich the lives of animals, emphasize the importance of conservation, and how art can inspire a deeper appreciation for the wildlife around us. Come tap into your imagination, connect with nature, and learn about the animals that share our world!
Note: The Zoo no longer brings live animals off-site, however, they do bring animal artifacts that can be touched to spark wonder and inspire conservation.
Registration preferred, however, walk-ins will be welcomed as space allows.
